Terminals
Eclipse supports physical and virtual POS terminals for card-present acquiring. Terminals are organised into stores — a store is a physical or logical location (e.g., a retail branch or a merchant outlet) that groups one or more terminals. Both stores and terminals can be managed from the Admin Portal.
Accessing Terminals
Terminals can be accessed from two contexts:
- Organisation-level: Organisation profile → Terminals tab. Manage stores and terminals for a specific merchant organisation.
- Customer-level: Customer profile → Terminals tab. Manage terminals for a customer entity.
The Terminals Screen Layout
The terminals screen has two sections:
- Stores — the top table listing all stores for the customer or organisation.
- Terminals — the bottom table listing terminals within the selected store.
Select a store row to filter the terminal list to that store.

- Fill in the store details:

Use the filter controls above each table to search by:
Stores: Store ID or Store Name
Terminals: Store ID, User ID, Terminal ID, or Terminal Name
Terminal Types
Terminal types are configured at the platform level by EFT Corporation. Available terminal types depend on your tenant's acquiring configuration (Postilion, third-party POS, etc.). Contact your EFT Corporation account manager to add or modify terminal type definitions.
Integration Notes
- Terminal IDs are referenced in Postilion and card-present transaction flows. Ensure the Terminal ID in Eclipse matches the PTID configured on the physical device.
- Each terminal must be associated with a store, and each store must be associated with a customer or organisation record.
- Transaction history for a terminal can be viewed from the customer or organisation wallet's Transaction History tab, filtering by terminal ID.
